
Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh, has called a meeting of the Tripartite Committee scheduled for Thursday, March 12, to address ongoing political disagreements and matters affecting national cohesion.
The announcement was made by Hawa Sally Samai, Executive Secretary of the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion (ICPNC). She said the session will bring together key stakeholders to discuss issues influencing political stability, peace, and unity across the country.
According to Samai, the discussions will focus on resolving outstanding political concerns while identifying practical measures to strengthen national cohesion and ensure sustained peace.
The Tripartite Committee was established as part of broader efforts to promote dialogue among political actors and encourage constructive engagement on governance matters. Officials noted that the upcoming meeting is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the path forward and reinforcing commitments to peaceful political processes in Sierra Leone.
