Sierra Leone-based NAJ Media Consultancy has been selected as an official media partner for the Nairobi Entertainment Music Awards (NEMA Awards) 2026, in a development that further strengthens the country’s growing presence in Africa’s media and entertainment landscape.

The appointment was confirmed in an official invitation from the NEMA Awards Organizing Committee, which invited NAJ Media Consultancy to provide media coverage for the 2026 edition of the awards scheduled to hold on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya.

According to the organizers, NAJ Media Consultancy will collaborate with other international media partners to provide coverage of the event while publishing news, updates and promotional content across its various media platforms, including its website, television, radio, print publications and social media channels.

The organizers described the partnership as part of efforts to expand the visibility of the awards across Africa and among audiences in the diaspora through strategic collaborations with reputable media organizations.

NEMA Awards has grown into an annual platform celebrating excellence in African music and entertainment, bringing together artists, industry professionals, journalists, content creators, influencers and other stakeholders from across the continent.

Organizers disclosed that the 2026 edition is expected to feature more than 50 nominated national and international artists, alongside over 10 international media partners covering activities before, during and after the ceremony.

Online voting for this year’s awards is expected to close on September 20, two days before the main event in Nairobi.

In a statement contained in the invitation letter, the NEMA Awards Organizing Committee welcomed the partnership, expressing optimism about working with NAJ Media Consultancy to deliver wider international coverage of the event.

“We look forward to welcoming NAJ Media Consultancy as one of our official media partners and working together to make the 2026 edition an outstanding international success,” the statement read.

The selection is regarded as another milestone for Sierra Leone’s media industry, reflecting the increasing participation of local media organizations in major continental events and reinforcing opportunities for cross-border collaboration in journalism, entertainment and cultural promotion.
